In this episode of Castaway Books Lesley Kara international best seller of The Rumour and Who Did You tell chats with me about the five books that have shaped her life and influenced her writing. Lesley tells me that she wanted to go into acting but was dissuaded by her parents as her siblings had both taken that path. It was after a successful career as a lecturer and manager in higher education that Lesley gave up work to commit herself to becoming an author. We have a fascinating discussion about how new experiences can change us sometimes challenging our relationships, and whether if we could go back we would make different life decisions.
